What am I?

At the Emotional Level, I am a set of Attributes, Have a glance at the above Picture for more clearer understanding.

There are some Traits

Some Developed Skills

Some Habits etc etc.

First of all, Remember your Emotions are the Results of the Scenario around you.

Have Control over them.

No one Trait goes Forever It Changes or at least has Variations in the Long term.

The point is if I want to Change a Particular Trait or maybe quit a particular trait then How can I do it?

The biggest problem that can arise in such a case is one might think that he himself is pretending not to be that trait.

For Instance, I was a smoker and I quit smoking yesterday so now I am pretending that I am not a smoker or am I not a smoker?

when can I say that I am not pretending that I am not a smoker but I am actually a non-smoker?

The period may vary as it depends on the person in so many ways.

Let's see how to change a particular trait without getting affected by the above Identity Crises.

1 What you naturally do is you decide that you quit. It's great but it's tough and you are pretending, It may happen that you get a chance to smoke and you will coz you have only decided and most people do not have such strong decision-making power.

2 Get to the root cause and work on it, hereto Initially you will think that you are pretending but eventually, you will quit.

For example you are quitting smoking first decide that you will quit.

Find the reason why you smoke and work on it

find the triggers and work on it instead of acting hard against your craving,

Do this and then slowly deal with your craving.
