The Difference between the Spiritual Personalities.

There is a difference between the Spiritual personalities we around Ourselves but most of us don't know these differences.

Rishi/ Rishikas - Men & Women who claim the First hand Experience of God. They are the roots of Hinduism.

Guru - A Spiritual Teacher , which literally means a remover of Ignorance from one's life. as "gu" means Ignorance in sanskrit and "Ru" means a remover of.

Swami - A master, who signifies mastery over the senses. The title is customarily used to address monks who traditionally wear "Ochre"(Fire) as they have burnt their Worldly Desires

Sadhus - Monks of Different Religious Orders

Acharyas - A special teacher who instructs through Examples. Head ofsome Hindu Secterian movement.

Mahant - Head ofsome Temple Body

Puranis - Glorified Story Tellers

Pundits - Intellectuals in Religious matters.

Pujaris - Priest who specialise in liturgy in the temple or relegious ceremonies.

All these are different fromeach other with different Educatinal Backgrounds and Specialisations, Indeed there are other dimensions which are not covered in here I thought this much would be easy to digest.
